This was taken at the Summer Palace in Beijing when I first went there back in January 2005. There was this old man out in the forecourt using a mop that you and me would normally use for domestic cleaning, and yet with a bit of ink he masterfully uses his hand strokes in creating what you see is the old style chinese calligraphy.
